Balancing Act

Thursday night, and everyone is going out (needlesstosay Harpos) but before you are sipping on your quarter draws, triple wells or what have you, there is a vital decision of what to wear?  Now there are those girls, you know you you are, that dress 100% for the male species, boobs, butt, they let it all hang out.  On the opposite side of the spectrum there are ladies who choose to rock the latest, high fashion, man repelling frock or avant-garde granny dress. As for me I honestly try to balance the two, which is no easy feat.  Now I am not saying that I have always been successful, there of course was the night I wore a dark purple lipstick, [middle part] and a flowy free people dress to Forge and needless to say in Columbia Missouri jaws dropped.  But it truly is not an easy task to both find an outfit girls will call adorable and men will find you sexy.  So are you a Megan Fox or a Olsen sister? In the midst of a fabulous girls night we were discussing go to looks or signature pieces.  Jenni has her bangs, Evy with her little skirts && of course Rach in head to toe purple.  As for me, it was a unanimous decision that my signitch look involved some bitchin' kicks.  My latest fascination is with some [wedgies].  And THESE are on another level...

HOLY BLONDE

So I am considering going blonde, I shall keep my belles posted, but some of my inspirational photos involve my girl Whit:

I like to consider myself a bit of a prep, well I am an equestrian, a sorority girl, and crazy for anything monogrammed so maybe I am a bona fide Prepster.  But it most definitely has reached quite a new level. I sometimes think I am most definitely in the wrong place, because I love all things East Coast. The style of houses, the sports (lacrosse, polo, crew) and ultimately I love the timeless, conservative style.  Classic sheath silhouettes, bright pink and green, collegiate plaids, David Yurman, UHH MAJOR! Not to mention I love preppy, fun decor of Jonathan Adler and Ralph Lauren.  TIME to relocate so I can reach my TRUE PREP potential.
